About

Small on purpose.

TradeCode is a two-person practice. We stay small because the work we are good at needs continuity, not headcount.

Where we came from

Both of us spent years inside systems where a data gap at 02:00 turned into a bad fill at 09:30. That experience shaped the opinions on the rest of this site: log the thing you will want at three in the morning, make the failure loud, and never let the research path drift away from production.

How we work

Remote, asynchronous, with one scheduled call a week and a written note at the end of every iteration. We prefer boring technology and short dependency lists. If a problem is genuinely solved by an existing library, we use it and say so rather than rebuilding it for the invoice.

Fit

We are a good fit for teams of two to fifteen people who already trade and have outgrown their first set of scripts. We are a poor fit for pre-idea projects, for anyone looking for a co-founder, and for work that depends on us having a view on the market itself.

Contact

Write to hello at tradecode dot tech with a paragraph about the system as it is today. A rough description is fine; we will ask the specific questions.
